Jeevandeep Law College is committed to promoting access to justice through its Legal Aid Clinic, which provides free legal assistance to those in need, particularly underprivileged individuals who cannot afford legal representation. This initiative aligns with the Bar Council of India's mandate and the college’s mission to integrate legal education with social responsibility.
The clinic serves as a platform for students to gain practical legal experience under the guidance of faculty members and legal professionals. Students assist in various aspects, including legal advice, document drafting, and dispute resolution. They also participate in pro bono work, reinforcing their sense of duty toward justice.
Beyond providing individual legal aid, the clinic actively engages in legal literacy programs, awareness workshops, and community outreach initiatives. It educates citizens about their legal rights and remedies, ensuring that justice reaches the grassroots level. Special sessions on women’s rights, consumer rights, and labor laws further enhance public awareness.
By bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, the Legal Aid Clinic at Jeevandeep Law College empowers students with advocacy skills, promotes ethical legal practice, and cultivates a commitment to social justice and pro bono service in the legal profession.
